The view is welcoming but with some reservation that being the fog. I have had some bad experiences in fog. In about 1964 I climbed Mount Rainier and as we were making our way down the mountain the fog rolled in. We made it back to Paradise lodge but believe me it was the long way.
I love being above the timber line.
It is definately ethereal and peaceful.
